Please, take a moment and look at the devastation that nature can inflict upon this world.
This is Greensburg, Kansas after it was obliterated by a mile wide tornado. In roughly 20 minutes, 95% of the town was destroyed. I can't even begin to fathom what that would feel like.

my phone is on its last leg and i expect it to die any day now and i can't get a new one until at least the 27th. the battery life is getting really short (lasted just over 8 hours today before it completely died), my service is getting worse (generally can't get calls at home, tonys, and usually not at school), and it freezes up frequently which effectively renders the phone useless. so if you can't get ahold of me, i'm probably not ignoring you and i ask that you try to get ahold of me on here or myspace. unfortunately i am also unable to check my voicemail from anywhere but my phone. or you could use some other, more creative methods (catapult, arrows with notes on them, notes stuck on the front door or car with a giant sword, sky writing, telegram via pony express, messages burned into the lawn or in blood on the driveway, megaphone, or just try yelling really loudly).

I sold back one of my books for $25 and we got a pizza. Now we're listening to The Flaming Lips and watching Ally play suck at Mario. I'm glad school is done for a bit, I can finally sit back and relax watch Star Wars.

Why did grunge appeal to teens in the early 90's?
Why didn't it appeal to older generations?
